As a young girl, Tricia watched her mother, a landscape designer, work. She absorbed her techniques, while the world of plants and flowers and creating beautiful spaces absorbed her tiny, sprouting soul.

“Growing up, I thought everyone loved gardening and being in the yard.”

While raising her own young family, Tricia started her own fledgling business, creating and hand-finishing garden planters from her garage. Word quickly spread of these amazing planters, and Tricia suddenly found herself—and her natural talent for creating beauty—in high demand.

She bought the present-day Millstone Nursery, located in the heart of Germantown on Poplar Avenue, in 2008. More than two decades later, her sweet, Southern-instilled attentive customer service continues to grow—along with Millstone’s inimitable selection of high-quality plants, perennials, annuals, garden planters, gardening tools, décor and much more.
